Permian Resources-Earthstone deal creates $14B powerhouse
A year ago, the merger of Colgate Energy and Centennial Resources created Permian Resources. Today, another merger is creating a $14 billion Delaware Basin independent producer.
Midland’s Permian Resources has agreed to acquire Earthstone Energy in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $4.5 billion. The combination of the two companies will add 223,000 net acres, bringing Permian Resources’ holdings to more than 400,000 acres and create what the companies say is a $14 billion Delaware Basin exploration and production company.
